Polaris A
Two channels of triggered audio. Drop in, power up, fire.
What it does, plainly.
Polaris A is a two-channel audio playback node. An onboard Wi-Fi microcontroller handles the network stack and HTTP API; a dedicated 30 W stereo audio module sits behind it and plays a triggered clip on demand. The two GPIO trigger lines idle HIGH and pulse LOW to fire — wired directly to the audio module, no transistor required. Wi-Fi joins the TRUENORTH SSID on the air-gapped 10.0.0.0/24 subnet and registers itself with Helm on first boot.
Two stereo 3.5 mm outputs — drive line-level into a venue amp or directly into powered speakers.
Each channel holds one clip, loaded from microSD on the audio module.
Status LED on the node face tells you in five feet whether it has reached Helm.
Speakers and amplification are NOT included — spec your audio chain to taste.

On boot, Polaris A holds its trigger lines HIGH for 200 ms before going idle — prevents power-on chirps.
If Wi-Fi drops, the node retries every 5 s and resumes accepting triggers as soon as the link is back.
Often ordered with Polaris A.
Polaris V
Two HDMI outputs. Triggered, looped, or scheduled.
Polaris G
Ten relay channels. Drive anything that takes a contact.
Helm Server
The brain. Runs HelmOS, polls the fleet, fires every cue.
