What it does, plainly.
TrueNorth is the dedicated, air-gapped Wi-Fi network that ties everything together. Hardened router config, fixed SSID, static gateway, DHCP locked to the show-control subnet. No internet path. No guest network. Nothing on the TrueNorth SSID except Northstar gear. The base kit covers a single-building venue; mesh extenders are available for multi-building campuses.
Pre-configured router — plug into Helm, broadcast SSID, ready in 90 seconds.
Subnet, DHCP range, and Helm static IP are reserved and documented on the label.
Optional mesh extenders for buildings or wings beyond Wi-Fi reach of the primary AP.
No internet path — by design. Updates load from a USB stick at maintenance time.

Single-building venues are usually fine on the base AP alone. Confirm coverage with a Polaris node walk before commissioning.
For three or more buildings, plan a mesh extender per building and budget for one extra slot per floor.
